Kimbolton Sculpture Festival 28 April 2018
We had a great couple of days up at Kimbolton for the Rural Arts Festival.
Thank you Mark and Paula for taking great care of us.
I’ve called this sculpture ‘Progress vs Nature’
It was inspired by the regeneration of native bush that is naturally occurring throughout New Zealand.
The koru is ripping the boundary fence out of the ground as it grows.
The beautiful words by Nick Tucker explain it best……
Thank you Julian from We Cut Shapes in Ashhurst, for laser etching the words into the stainless plate for me at short notice.
This sculpture is for sale for $3500.00, please enquire.
I also created this stunning fire bowl for the same event which we lit at the Kimbolton pub, on the night of the artists’ dinner.
The fire is also for sale for $3500.00, please enquire
